Historical Photographs

Otis Library maintains a growing digital collection of historic photographs and postcards dating back to the nineteenth century. All digital photograph collections can be accessed for free on the Otis Library Flickr page. Visitors to this site will have access to photographs and postcards portraying the communities of Norwich and Taftville in the late 19th century and early 20th centuries. Included in the Taftville collection are the studio photographs of the pioneering photographer Prime Dugas.
