Library of Things

Items in our Library of Things are available at the Library on a first-come, first-served basis. Items may not be placed on hold. Some items have checkout restrictions and/or cannot leave the library. Please contact the library if you have any questions.

Core Collection

Items in this collection adhere to the rules and restrictions in our Library of Things Policy. Patrons must review the policy and sign a waiver before checking items out.  Click on the image for each item to learn more about it.

Museum Passes

Otis Library offers passes to a variety of local attractions. From museums to nature centers, we offer something for everyone!

Early Human Skull Replicas

In 2017, Otis Library hosted the exhibit “Exploring Human Origins: What Does It Mean to Be Human?” in conjunction with the John Templeton Foundation, the American Library Association, and the Smithsonian Institution.

Five early human skull replicas were donated to the library’s collection for use by local teachers of public and private educational institutions for instructional purposes only. Rules for borrowing are linked below.  

In Library Use Only

There are select items that are available for in-library use only.
