All Otis Library patrons can access Ancestry Library Edition on any device connected to our
network. Researchers can use Ancestry Library to search census records, death records,
cemetery records, military records, religious records, immigration records, passenger lists,
and more.

FamilySearch

FamilySearch is a nonprofit organization that maintains a collection of records, resources, and
services designed to help people learn more about their family history. Users can use the
family tree function to generate content that can be contributed to genealogical databases.

Godfrey Memorial Library American Genealogical-Biographical Index (AGBI)

Godfrey Memorial Library’s Scholar database provides access to a wealth of digitized content, including genealogical documents and records, military histories, cemeteries, 19th century newspapers, and so much more! In-library use only.

All Connecticut residents are eligible for a Connecticut State Library card. CSL cards can be
used to access a selection of online databases and borrow library materials.
